About
Welcome to The Wknd Social!
Hey y'all! I’m Aivery Darnell, the owner of The Wknd Social, and I’m so glad you’re here!
I'm from Alexandria, Alabama, and I’m newly engaged to my best friend and greatest supporter, Tyler. We met while attending Jacksonville State University, where I was a on of the cheer team for three years and earned my degree in Marketing.
I’ve always had a strong desire to build something of my own. I grew up watching my dad run his own business, and his dedication and work ethic have been a constant source of inspiration in my life.
During my senior year of college, I found out I was pregnant with my son — who is now a busy toddler! My focus quickly shifted to completing my degree and preparing for motherhood. Although I had dreamed of opening a boutique, I knew the timing wasn’t right. I chose to dedicate my time and energy to my new role as a mother, and for the past year and a half, I’ve had the blessing of staying home with my son full-time.
When he was about six months old, God place the dream back on my heart. I took a leap of faith, obtained my business license, and began pouring prayer, planning, and hard work into what would become The Wknd Social.
This journey has been full of trust, growth, and gratitude. God has shown His faithfulness in ways I could never fully put into words. To me, this business is a true testament to His love and grace.
Whether you’re a customer, a supporter, or simply stopping by, I want you to know how deeply valued you are. My hope is that you leave here encouraged and reminded that you are chosen, loved, and created with purpose by Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m so excited for what’s ahead and truly appreciate your support.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope."
— Jeremiah 29:11
